Product Introduction

Due to their high porosity, aerogels exhibit the lowest thermal conductivity of any solid, whilst being transparent to light and solar radiation. Aerogels are often cited as a promising materialfor translucent insulation applications. They can made from practically any material, although the most common form is silica aerogel which can be produced as granules or in solid (monolithic) tiles.

Aerogel is an ultra-light solid material with nano-porous structure. Because of its extremely low density, it is also called "frozen smoke" or "blue smoke". It has won the Guinness Book of Records "the world's lightest solid". Since more than 80% of the aerogel is air, it has a very good heat insulation effect. The one-inch thick aerogel is equivalent to the insulation function of 20 to 30 ordinary glass. Even if the aerogel is placed between the rose and the flame, the rose will not be damaged.
